It is good but I got stuck multiple times ;(. It was endless, whenever I attacked him he always just healed back to full hp. This happened multiple times when i just started/restarted.

Sorry about that :(

We're aware of this issue, the game was originally made in a week for a gamejam and we just didn't have enough time to balance enemies properly at the end. We're currently working on an update to make things fairer, but we will have to wait for the end of the voting process before pushing it live.

In case you want to give it another try without having to worry about that guy, here's a little secret: if you press SPACE+F you can take out an enemy in one-hit. This is not really a feature but just a developer option that wasn't remove for the live version, under normal circumstances we don't really encourage its use, but we feel like is an adecuate solution if you encounter this enemy too early, at least in the meantime. Now go get your revenge :)

lol thx! ill use this when i do get stuck on the enemy early on ;)

Got stuck when I selected 'upgrade die' but all my dice were already at max (no way to skip or exit the upgrade screen). Great game, good luck in the jam.

Ah, sorry about that! There's many issues like that one that we just couldn't patch up in time for the jam. We're working on a postjam version so hopefully the game will be a lot more stable at that point. Anyway, thanks for your comment!

I absolutely love this game. Seriously the core mechanics are very fun and strategic.
I just want more of this game! More dices, more enemies!

The game has a very cool art style and a good soundtrack, making it a joy to play.
The rogue-like deck-builder theme is minimalistic, but fit very well.

My only critique is that making the player choose the target of the next attack would make some encounters a lot easier.

Also the difficulty is really challenging, but... I did it somehow! :D

Wow! No way, I think you're the first outside of the developers' circle (that we know of) that managed to not only reach the boss, but beat the whole game! Makes me happy that someone was able to do it! :')

We're actually working on a new and improved version of the game for after the jam is over, we're not sure if thats going include adding new features and stuff like that, but the positive response has been pretty abudant so developing the game further feels like a no-brainer in a way. Hopefully you can have your wish granted in the not so distant time :)

Thanks for commenting here!

Great game and very nice gameplay, but PLEASE NERF THE GREEN MOTH

We will! As soon as the jam is over a new version will be ready without that pesky moth healing outrageously >(

Here is a "tip" of sorts in case you want to have another go with the game: if you press SPACE+F, you can take out an enemy in one hit. As you can imagine, this is more of a debug option than a proper feature of the game, but having your run ruined but that enemy is really the worst, so we feel like is an aceptable way of getting past that guy. We want as many people as possible reaching the boss or even beating the game, after all (obviously1).

Thanks for your nice words :)

Absolutely love the game but the green moths healing ability is op, I was stuck in a stalemate because all of my attacks would be negated by it's healing, but other than that amazing game!

Thank you for your comment! We are well aware of how op the green moth is (is almost becoming a meme now haha). An update is in the making and will be live once the JAM finishes. In that update the game will be correctly balanced and it should be a much more fun experience, hope that you give it another try then ;)

Thanks for the reply, I'll definitely be giving the game another try!

I love this game so much. Usually I just comment on the jam entry page but this game is so good I had to leave a proper comment too

Leaving a comment here is high praise indeed! Thank you!

Amazing! I dunno if its random or not, but on floor 5 I was fighting the super healer, and noticed that they heal up to 14 per turn (I think). To me the healers were the only unbalanced part of the game. I am about to restart because i have 72 shield and the enemy is still at 20 health because i can deal a max of one damage per turn (after heal). I think the only balancing that you need to do is make one or two super easy levels at the start, because the rewards will auto-balance

I had the same problem as well, loved the game but the healers are o

Yep, we're aware of this sadly. A postjam version is in the making so hopefully everyone will be able to experience the game without having to worry about this guy, but in the meantime maybe you can try this is you want to give it another try:

If your press SPACE+F you can take out any enemy, this is a developer option that was left behind and not really the proper way of playing (is there even such a thing? lol), but we decided it was better for player to use these "cheat" instead of getting stuck forever at that point, so please use if you feel like it!

Ah, and thanks for the feedback!

thanks for replying!

I love the gameplay, art, and music so much! I just wish you'd had the time to tune down some of the enemies. I tried for a good 15 minutes to get past the super moth on floor 5 but couldn't do it. I'm looking forward to an update so I can continue to play this awesome game!

Thanks for making this piece of art.

Ah, sorry about that, that enemy really shouldn't appear so early in the game, but as you probably already know, we just didn't have enought time time to balance everything properly.

We are working on a post-jam version with all these issues fixed (and maybe some extra features). But in case you want to try again without having to worry about getting stuck with the super moth, press SPACE + F to one-shot the enemy. This is obviously a leftover developer option and not intended for players to use, but we can see the frustation with this particular enemy and feel like having to end your run because of it is really bad. So, good luck reaching the boss! ;)

And thank you for your comment!

Awesome thanks I’ll give that a go!
