Die in the Dungeon is a deck-building, turn-based roguelite where you dont use cards, but dice! Try to find the best combination to conquer the 2X-floor dungeon, but be careful, a frog like you can only get so far before encountering a prey too big to swallow...

Die in the Dungeon is coming to Steam!

Big news today! We're working on a bigger, bolder and overall better version of Die in the Dungeon for Steam! There's still a long way to go before launch, but the Steam page is now live:

The single, most impactful action you can do to support us is wishlisting the game on Steam!

Of course, spreading the word among your friends, family and anyone you think can enjoy the game is also really valuable. We want to make everyone aware of this new version we're working on. But you're probably asking youself what will the Steam version include, right? Well, here are some of the features we're planning for it:

Relics! 👑

- A completely new event system!⚖️

- More enemies! New bosses! 🐲

- Lots of new dice types and properties! 🎲

- A more complex dungeon layout! 🗺️

- And much, much more! 🤐

Hopefully all this is as exciting to you as it is to us, we've been working on the game for quite some time and we finally feel confident enough to take the leap and try to fulfill Die in the Dungeon's full potential. Let's try and make the best game possible!

And as always, thank you for supporting the game! 💪🐸

Oh, one more thing. We will be posting lots of updates about the new Steam version on our discord server (including looking for potential testers in the future), so head there if you're interested:

This game is great. Can you upload your game to POKI? I have a channel here and I will pay for the advertising fees for you

New personal record! Lucky 1 dice with the grow property are really strong

(+1)(-1)

After "new game+ is unlocked" I feel like being punished because there is no new mechanic and I need to complete the same thing I did?

will there be android version

Grow dice are so good lmao

Great game! Can't wait to get it on Steam.

(+1)

Is the attack/boost combo dice good? Secondly, does anyone have a tier list for the combo dice?

yesss. the best dice combos are the hollow grow die in my experience, particularly shield and attack die when fighting difficult enemies like queen bee and the evil frog.

听不懂思密达

(+3)

hey um, did i break the game? i think i did a little bit muchfloor 9!

😭

HOW DO YOU DO THAT

(+1)

oh simple, he can heal and i had terra dice :3

(+1)

i couldve gone for 1000 shield or damage but i didn't want to

(+1)

You should add a REALLY rare dice were it multiplies the dice near it but also be used once per battle, like a glass boost but instead of +2 its x2, it would make it really cool and stuff, just a suggestion :3

(+11)(-1)

Fucking love this game

You know what? After being open to playing again based on a previous comment and reply to my own, I see that you're a bit over-the-top with your feedback and not especially helpful. Too bad. Enjoy your unfiltered playing of a game that warrants such indiscriminate praise from you.

chill bro, who hurt you? leave the child alone bro -.-

(+5)(-1)

crazy hating

Bro download itch.io app and add this to a collections. Can play from browser right here yeah. I had no idea itch has this but so far I love this game only

Cool game! Really like how you implemented the boost dice mechanics. Looking good!

better gameplay than dungeons of Aether unironically

great game, but how the hell am i supposed to get past the dang bee

take those max health upgrades to get greater value healing and go for hollows

Awsome, so fun.

honestly, even as a demo, this is one of ,if not, the best web games ive played

This game is so freaking fun

(1 edit) (+1)

Really fun mechanic, perhaps more opportunities to gain dice?

(+1)

Cant wait for the Steam Version!

(+1)

Love it so much, cool mechanic, especially on the bee floor (took me a while to realize the honey doesn't always de-buff my dice haha)

(+1)

This game was the longest game that I played on Itch io. Very captivating, I am waiting four eyes open nice job!

(+1)

Very nice, fun game. It has that addictive factor. Could have easily been a gameboy game I would've enjoyed

(+1)

hm

id get new die

(-2)

Good game i enjoy it. Try my game: https://bobi714.itch.io/batlle

Pretty much immediately, in the tutorial, I'm bored and/or overwhelmed with the system and the long descriptions. Your game may be good, but I'll probably never know because I don't have the patience to learn your system. Good luck to you. Hopefully others enjoy it, if it's worth the trouble.

It's  one of the best games that i played in this website. The mechanic isn't that hard, you get used to it. It's totally worth it

Okay. Maybe I'll try it again sometime. However, you have my initial, mostly unfiltered reaction, and that may be more helpful than the nice response I have later. When I seek out a game to play, it's to be diverting and fun, not really nice or tolerant or even open minded. It's to play. Anything I put in I hope to get rewarded for. Anything that sort of slows me down or makes me think about the game at least momentarily takes away from the enjoyment of actually playing the game.

(1 edit) (+1)

idk how i did dat

mirror, terrain, and boost is insane

((6+6+2)*2)+2

Good job. Its really fun.

(+1)

I like this game a lot.

I do however worry this looks more appealing than the upcoming steam version

over 30hrs played this game. And I love it!

died on floor 20 immediately. very fun game though, i will be playing it again. and again. and again

(+3)

Love this version 10x more than the version on steam. Visually more appealing and story wise more enjoyable. I can play this for hours unlike the demo on steam

I love the way the more you play, the more you discover interesting ways in which not only the dice matter, but also their placement! Super fun - Wishlisting :)

(+4)

Best K.O. I've ever managed in this game:

(+1)

yo that is actually sick lol

While not necessarily challenging - at least for me, I enjoy this game and its concepts. I think it's cool the way it is designed. You have to make your moves by just using different dices on a board, which is a cool concept, especially when it will be expanded (more dices, more mechanics, maybe stronger opponents etc.)

AWSOME.!! really loved mechanics. but when ı died all progress is gone. maybe you can add like journey mod to keep porgress alive

How can I disable vsync? I tried adding -force-vulkan to the command line which did indeed change it to Vulkan, as I could see in MangoHud, and I tried MangoHud’s vsync=1 setting, which sets the Vulkan present mode to “IMMEDIATE”, meaning no vsync, and it’s still locked to 60 fps and won’t go higher. I ask because the cursor is SUPER laggy, like 10 or more frames behind where I’ve moved it. The game looks like it could be fun, but with the cursor being that laggy, it’s very uncomfortable to play.

(+1)

An absolute gem in the puzzle genre, this game is nothing short of amazing. Its clever and evolving mechanics will challenge and engage you, while the stunning visuals and immersive atmosphere make every moment enjoyable. A must-play for puzzle enthusiasts looking for an unforgettable experience.

Bro this game is awesome, tho ive only played it once😂
