I love this game, but what the fuck is the jester that can randomize your entire deck? I couldn't even nope out. Please make a change where you lose either half health or 10 (ten) health or something. I had a great deck down to not a single gold die. That was incredibly frustrating. Still love the game to death though.
Great game, too difficult tho. I know the goal was to make a luck based game, and hope you get the heart of the dices, tho some enemies are kinda too hard and some formations just really one turn kill the player. I know some people cleared the game already but still yeah. Maybe allowing to be back a choice, or allowing like few roll chances to get better dices in getting a new die option or just anything else that can be suggested. I did reach the boss, but of course I don't have good dices in the end.
I love this game. Its really cool to see all the updates you've given it over time.
Something I noticed is when you place a mirror block across from another block it locks itself, and you can only take the mirror block off if you take the block its mirroring and move it. But if you mirror a heavy block that was placed last turn you cant actually move the mirror block since its locked onto a block you cant touch.
This game is really duckin cool! Good job! The only thing I’d change is making the mouse controls better by letting the player swap dice in place and accessibility by letting the player grab a dice with a click and drop with a different click.
I played the jam version some months ago and this game still rocks! I honestly think, this game is a very good roguelike/deckbuilder and has so much potential. The mechanics of the game feel so natural and the addition of 'hollow' dice give the deckbuilding aspect more depth.
Um, if you want the developers to "fix this", I think it is a good idea to tell them what "this" is, as they won't be able to fix anything if you don't tell them what the problem is, if they even care about a salty comment
I'm sorry, I love this game and didn't mean to be salty. I got softlocked via the enemy that requires you to kill it an exact amount twice, and via the jester getting rid of my attack dice once I actually continued playing the next day. once again love this game and no hate to the developers
I like the esthetic of the game and the gameplay is enjoyable but it is still just brutal and in a way that isn't enjoyable. I still feel like I can never get that far because of the upgrades just not being much of an extra punch. I think that giving a bit of healing at the end o each round having the player get new dice would make the game have a more functional difficulty curve. - but maybe I am just missing a large part of the game
the randomize event I took right before my boss assuming it would just give my dice effects or something and it got rid of all my attack dice right before the boss this is the second softlock this update, this is annoying
I loved every second of it. I initially just came for looking at the artwork thinking that it’s another boring strategy game, but damn, I’m hooked to this!
Yeah, we definetely need to make a small tutorial in floor 1 because the game can get confusing for new players. About those enemies, there is a white symbol near them that if you maintain your pointer there, a description pop up explaining what it does, the same happens when you adquire a Hollow or Heavy die and maintain the pointer on top of the dice ^^
The game is still a bit hard and the difficulty curve hits hard fast. I wish the upgrades were a bit more interesting and useful like I sometimes just feel I am not getting better dice. I keep getting one-shotted because I didn't have a chance to get better dice. The game has a great style and is fun but just needs some balance I feel.
It is a hard boss, you need to save some honey dices for that moment, but once you reach the boss several times, you know how to play around her rage status. That attack can deal 20-26 damage, so you got a bit unlucky there also x)
The original concept was made in a week, however, we've added already 3 patches to fix and add new things, so the current game actually has a lot more time than just that first week x)
I thought this game was super fun! I've never been into turn-based games aside from a few from when I was younger but this game is actually a lot of fun! If you like dice, dungeon crawling, turn-based games, and a badass frog with a sword you're probably going to enjoy Die in the Dungeon! Also the enemies are challenging but not too challenging where you're going to rip your hair out!

It looks like there’s a “refuse” option on the screenshots?
I managed to beat it by getting the "transform dice" event early and lucking into a good combination of powerful special dice (once upgraded)

I got two different strategies
Strategy 1 : Have 5 Gold Dice In Your Deck (or 6 if you want 2 healing dice)
Strategy 2 : Have so many dice in your deck
I am having a really fun time being so bad at this game
Nice game!

This is game is awesome. Hardly ever get to the end, and Queen bee is nutso. I love it, and I keep dying. Amazing work.
wow first time seeing queen bee and understanded how the honey dice work

are you serious I got softlocked again I'm done playing this game until the developer fixes this

Its ok, we all get mad sometimes
We launched a mini-update today addressing both of these issues, hopefully soft-locks will be keep down to a minimum now :)
Rlly good
Thanks!
Good Game :D
I cant believe you got past floor 20, That Amazing!
I'm having a blast! Hard game for sure though. Violin cicadas my beloathed

very, very good and addicting. All the best parts of slay the spire but with dice. Can’t stop playing. Make more!
That's high praise, thank you!
the jester sucks no matter what

So happy to hear that! :)

damn the orc looking monster is so hard to beat if you dont get lucky first turn to kill it instantly
I softlocked myself with the small enemy and no boosters and one golden attack die
I just no hit the boss and it took me to floor 21 lol
pillbug event is way overpowered
new font is sorta hard to understand, especially threes
I remember when this game was a demo, and It's a lot better now. It's very good, well polished, and not absolutely broken. Great Job
First run in over a year or 2. I had a lot of fun.

did I really just get one shot by the boss when I had 25hp with shield
This isn't a hate comment btw, just me realizing I need to git gud

I usually don't like turn-based combat games, so I am surprised how much fun I had with this game
Thank you for the comment! Glad you liked it :)
Amazing Game I love it
Thank you! ^^
this game is to good to only be made in 1 week
