I did a similar thing using terrain dice in a regular fight where i stalled as much as i could and spammed terrain dice, eventually i did 300 damage in one hit, now try it on bee, (tried it on the frog at floor 25 and didnt work, but bee does work)
Don't use terrain dice in the evil frog fight, cuz you're cooked when the evil frog puts an attack die onto one of your super buffed slots that took you so long to make
I like it a lot, but I wish there was a "continue" button/single slot autosave for if I get interrupted midgame. Currently, playing the browser version on my tablet, and it works perfectly on touchscreen except that if I open any other app or browser tab and come back, the game becomes unresponsive to my pokes until I refresh the page, which takes me back to the new game screen :'(
My cookies got deleted 😭 I had all the little achievements nooo. I had pierce die, mixed, area, everything. Also the big frog hit me with the 9999 damage hit. Nice easter egg, devs!
This game has absolutely consumed me. I just started a job, and I fully plan on purchasing the full version on Steam when I get paid.
I absolutely love everything about this game. I love the strategy aspect, I love the graphics, I love the different dice types and enemy effects. I truly adore it all. I have spent every day playing this game. I love how you can learn so much but still not be "good" at the game, it takes skill and I LOVE IT. I've played for a while now but I've only ever made it to floor 20, haha.
I will continue to play the browser version for now, and I highly look forward to playing the Steam version as soon as possible. Thank you for an amazing, original game. Truly.
Very tedious defensive strat, but got me farthest than I've ever gone, very sisyphean. Takes some time to build defense, so not the best for offensive groups, like triple spider.
This Game is great! I've been playing it for a couple of weeks and my best runs have died to bad luck so my best run has only made it floor 37, but still amazing game!
The gameplay is seemingly really simple at first but it started to get more interesting when I got to the boss that had weak spots, but I died at the end. The game is really fun though :D
This was a great little game. It isn't as complex as slay the spire, once you figure out the strategy every run is going to be similar, but it was more complex than I gave it credit for at first. I'm glad I stuck around for a few runs until I was able to beat it.
this game is so awesome, i adore the artstyle and the whole dice mechanic, but i wanted to tell someone how i accepted a jester's deal to randomise all my dice and he left me with ONE BASIC attack die (THIS IS SO MEAN). i persevered and actually managed to beat a few floors and encountered a roly poly. i was a bit low on hp so i decided to lose a die.

Imagine 3 honey dice a hollow 6 attack dice and a hollow 4 boost dice. Thats 1000 damage.
Wouldn't that only be like 80 Damage?
If it was like that, that would be 6*2^3+(6*2^3)*2^3=432 damage, your exaggerating.
would be enough to one shot the bee though

After the frog does that, doesn't going back to it make you actually fight it ?

whenever I make it past the first boss, I just die a couple rounds later

tip is to be persistent. prioritize defense, finishing battles at full health to get more maximum hp, and chipping the enemy down

Cooked by the bee boss. Pretty cool gameplay loop. The music behaves a little strangely and seemed to change tempo a lot.

Great game! Beat the Honey Queen in the 20th floor, but ran out of healing dice afterwards XD This is really fun!
After the second time you battle (and win!) on level 25, the boss (the one with the sword), says that it was just protecting us from "It".
Does this means that there is a final final boss?
